Ya estamos en Dialnet y en el Catálogo 2.0 de Latindex ... y vamos por más ...
Recently, our journal Chone, Ciencia y Tecnología was included in two important databases:
Dialnet, the scientific literature database of the University of La Rioja, Spain; and Latindex 2.0 Catalog.
Dialnet is a non-profit entity of the University of La Rioja, established in February 2009 with the purpose of managing and developing one of the largest scientific literature databases in the world: Dialnet. Its main objectives are to collect and facilitate access to scientific and scholarly content in Spanish and Portuguese through the internet, promote an electronic hemeroteca (library) of scientific journals written in Spanish and Portuguese, encourage international cooperation to promote the use and dissemination of the Spanish language online, foster technological innovation, and support the development and consolidation of the knowledge society in academic, research, and general societal contexts.
Latindex is a network of 24 institutions operating in coordination to gather and disseminate information about scientific journals produced in the region, including those publishing Ibero-American studies worldwide. Registration and consultation are free. It offers three information services:
-
Directory (in which our journal has been included since its inception), containing bibliographic and contact data of registered printed and online journals.
-
Catalog 2.0, composed of online journals that meet the highest quality standards.
-
Article Discoverer, which provides access to full-text articles and documents published in journals included in the Catalog 2.0.

Soon, we will begin the process to include Chone, Ciencia y Tecnología in the DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals).
